About Us

Who We Are

We are a national anti-slavery partnership of individuals and organisations. We are inclusive, with diverse skills and expertise. We foster evidence-based good practice and create effective and holistic approaches to support survivors and ultimately end modern slavery in Australia.

The National Partnership Against Modern Slavery was established and is managed by Anti-Slavery Australia, a non-profit legal, policy and research centre at the University of Technology Sydney.

Mission Statement

The National Partnership Against Modern Slavery seeks to build collective intelligence, enable networking, provide collaborative opportunities, enable access to resources, and facilitate connections between those already working to end modern slavery in Australia to carry out their roles more effectively. The Partnership aims to facilitate:

  • Efficient and targeted responses to modern slavery
  • Deeper knowledge of the sector and parties involved
  • Opportunities that are otherwise made difficult by geographical limitations
  • Systemic positive impacts
